Not compatible with other Macbook Pro versions. NOTE: During installation, it is important that the system be powered off, battery disconnected, and the logic board discharged, to prevent damage to the hard drive or replacement cable. Cable receives voltage directly from battery, and may be damaged if board is not completely discharged prior to installation.
